Erosion & Sediment Control Regulation and Compliance in Victoria
“What you need to know.”
The following papers were presented at a half day seminar held on Wednesday 19th October 2005, at: Jells Park Teahouse and Function Centre, Waverley Rd, Wheelers Hill.
Over the past few years changes in regulation have taken place in Victoria. There have also been advances in technology to combat erosion and sediment control and to make your life easier in meeting your regulatory obligations.
This event gave regulators, contractors, local and state government, consultants, landscape architects, engineers and all those required to comply a unique chance to get up to date knowledge on regulations and best practice techniques. They heard from leading professionals about recent developments and new guidelines.
The seminar was especially relevant to regulators by exposing them to regulatory programs and requirements across Victoria. It also exposed them to latest management practices and technologies, to ensure the advice they provide is up to date and their surveillance is to a best practice standard.
Please find a copy of the presentation made on the Chapter website. We are also planning on running the seminar again in early March 2006. If you would like more information regarding this event please contact the Chapter office, 1800 354 322, E-Mail: admin@austieca.com.au.
Kindest regards
Michael Frankcombe
