Want a better understanding of best practice ESC?
The basics of soil erosion and the benefits of best practice ESC will be covered in this one day workshop to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how soil erosion is an environmental issue. The difference between erosion control & sediment control will be explained along with correct ESC techniques and methods and ESC products.
Presenters will establish how to maintain best practice site rehabilitation and initiate restoration requirements through good, bad and ugly examples of sites within South East Queensland. You will also learn the importance of complying with relevant legislation such as the Queensland Environment Protection Act.
Who Should Attend
- Construction personnel including supervisors, foremen, leading hands and labourers
- Planning officers, environmental advisors, civil engineers
- Local and State Government officers responsible for reviewing, inspecting or verifying erosion and sediment control plans or site practices
