Erosion Control and Rehabilitation of Mine Sites in NSW

Follow up field day

NEXT MINE SITE EVENT Wednesday NOVEMBER 13th 2019
The Hills Bark Blower is running the final event demonstrating compost blankets application as an effective rehabilitation and erosion control method on Mine Sites in NSW. This project was supported by NSW Government as part of Waste Less, Recycle More, funded from the waste levy.
Specified Compost Blankets are an effective method for stopping erosion in its tracks and rehabilitating damaged sites. The Hills Bark Blower Ecoblanket replaces the natural layer of humus that already protects undisturbed soil. Injected with a natural adhesive substance, the compost has increased structural integrity. Ecoblanket is easily installed in a one step, low impact pneumatic process that can conform to about any terrain.

See an established Ecoblanket application on a site in Helensburgh, and watch a new Ecoblanket being applied at this half day field trip on the 13th November.
