IECA are working with the Tasmanian Department of State Growth to present this seminar and field day on revegetation and rehabilitation of construction sites.

The purpose of the day is to launch the new State standard for site rehabilitation and landscaping. The document has been written by GHD and DSG. Both Iain Miller (GHD) and David Spiers (DSG) will give an overview of the purpose of the document and how it should be used.

Tim Duckett from Land Management and Rehabilitation Services will discuss current revegetation/rehabilitation issues faced in Tasmania.

Paul McMullen from Vital Industries will give a members perspective of IECA.

After a wonderful warming lunch provided by the Oatlands Ladies Auxiliary we will then be taken by bus to an active rehabilitation site at St Peter’s Pass. You will have the opportunity to view live demonstration and product trials that were applied before the event.

“Getting it right on site: erosion and sediment control in Tasmania” is a free event which has been made possible by the generous support of IECA, the Tas. Department of State Growth, Vital, GHD, and Hazel Brothers.
