The Zone Committee includes several working groups that focus on different geographic areas or topics. One of the projects that the Cashmere Catchment working group has chosen to work on is to ensure the ECAN Erosion and Sediment Control Guide is fit for purpose for Cashmere Stream Catchment and the Port Hills. This working group is also looking into a project that will help identify next best practice for erosion and sediment control on the Port Hills. This may include testing the performance of various on-site tools.
