IECA Australasia Invites Tenders for Comprehensive Review of the Best Practice Erosion Control Document

20th Jun 24

The Australasian Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA Australasia) is a not-for-profit industry body for individuals and companies who share an interest in controlling erosion and its by-product, sediment. IECA Australasia’s 500 (approx.) members are primarily focused on erosion and sediment control, particularly on mining and construction projects. In 2008 IECA Australasia published the Best Practice Erosion Control (BPESC) document, commonly referred to as the “White Book”.

The White book was originally published in 2008 since that time 2 updates have been made with the addition of appendix P and B. It is now time for another general review and update of the whole document. As the BPESC document is now available online, we believe that this will be part of more regular reviews to stay up to date with legislative updates and industry practice, technology and innovations as we incorporate our industry into the circular economy.

IECA Australasia is now seeking interested parties to submit a tender to undertake the work.

More information can be found in the Request for Quote document.

If you know someone who you think would be qualified to undertake the task, please forward this information to them.

The closing date for tenders is Monday 1st July 2024.
